We long to see transformation in the lives of those who seek our help. We are driven to meet the needs of the lost, the last, the least and the lonely.

We have experienced real poverty of health, wealth and education which has led to situations of great need.

Here is just one success story

Catherine was ten when we found her, the daughter of a Gipsy couple, they were getting ready to sell her on. This is still common practise in Moldova, especially in the Gipsy community.

Catherine had had no education and was used to beg on the street and hang around the market for food handouts. None of the family worked and they lived in squaller, totally dysfunctional.

At the shelter, Catherine was taught life skills; taught to cook, clean; the importance of personal hygiene; taught to budget and of course, sent to the local school. She also attended Sunday school where she learned about the love of Jesus in her life.

At 20 years old, Catherine is a qualified, chef. She works full-time and lives independently. Catherine can also speak very good English.
